Fortunately, the missing sounds are not too major. I received notice of the update from the vendor who sold me the plane, but there does not appear to be any news about the update on the Lotus Sim website.
Included is a 64bit sound file. Among the list of accolades one finds, perhaps most strikingly, VC rain drop affects Gasp! There are a couple of variants which don't sound like much on paper, but are a big change once you're in the cockpit.
When I first downloaded the L, it came to something like MB. I highly recommend the Albatros manual for a much more in-depth description of the flight characteristics of this aircraft. Is this a trend? External models include two military variants, plus civilian and long-range models.

Thanks for the help. The L was designed from lotusim very beginning to perform extremely well, and it certainly does so. The L is a very intuitive aircraft to fly; to be frank, I don't think I've enjoyed flying an aircraft more than the Albatros.
So, whenever the Albatros flies in rainy or snowy weather, you'll have streaks of precipitation trailing over your windshield. I installed it on my old Dell and flew around a bit with a friend - it was lootussim fun, yes, and made me wish for internet on my gaming rig; still, I haven't been able to potussim it going, and now I regret it every time I see a picture of a formation flight.

Lotus Sim Release L Albatros for FSX
One thing to keep in mind with the Albatros is that the panel is split between different shades of grey - the left side is rather light, and the right is dark. Has a great landing light upgrade, I believe.
This will block out all of the canopy and only lets you see the instruments. Mike Johnson is a very heavy believer in multiplayer.
